In January, mentors trained in the XL-Mentoring project began to be matched to students from Paulet High School, Burton. The school identified students who would benefit from 1:1 support for a variety of reasons and after meeting with both parents and students, the right mentoring matches was made. Things are off to a great start and families have been very positive about the project. These mentoring relationships are set to last for 12 months and our hope is that all students and their mentors will gain loads from the experiences as they work together to help to move things forward in a positive way for these young people. Watch this space for further updates.
