Co-operative Bank Support Community Project

£1,000 towards project costs

Following an application earlier in the year, we heard in November that the Co-op Bank will provide £1,000 for a community project working with young people to undertake projects that help their local community. From litter-picking to painting community spaces, visiting the elderly to working in a charity shop, the project aims to develop stronger inter-generational links and increase respect for the local community amongst those working on the project.

The project, set to start in September 2015, was delayed until April 2016, but this funding will really help as we get things up and running.
