Charmaine Wheeler

Charmaine has a wealth of experience supporting young people in a variety of settings, including those in foster care. Charmaine has a passion for working with young people who need some extra support. She believes in a therapeutic approach when working with young people and uses this to develop and maintain relationships.

Charmaine has a Bachelor in Social Work and a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work. She has also studied L2&3 Counselling qualifications and is a trained listener.

Charmaine spent a number of years living and working in New Zealand and this has enhanced her worldview and broadened her knowledge and understanding of people.

Charmaine participates in our projects and 1:1 sessions and enjoys spending time with the young people she is with.
